Carolyn Vaughan provides writing and editorial services for art books, exhibition catalogues, children’s books, and gift books. A former editor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Carolyn has extensive experience and expertise in museum publications and illustrated books. 

She also compiled Michelangelo’s Notebooks, a selection of Michelangelo’s letters, sonnets, and drawings, and she is the author of Invitation to Ballet, a picture book about ballet illustrated with drawings by Rachel Isadora and works of art by Edgar Degas. Carolyn is a member of the Association of Art Editors and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and a board member of the Culinary Historians of New York.
